One of the many dictionary definitions of Resilience is the ability to easily adjust to misfortune or change. However, if you’ve ever had a traumatic experience, you know that most times we don’t easily adjust to things so I don’t like the definition. Here is mine, Resilience; The ability to bounce back! 98% of the world will go through a traumatic experience. Similar to how we are all different, so are our experiences. Furthermore, so are how we bounce back from those experiences. In this session, we are going to learn that we are the true definition of resilience. We’ll take a deep dive into how we bounced back from our circumstances and, more importantly, how we Define Resilience!
