After School University: High School Strand
After School University will be presenting a series of workshops at BOOST to highlight Best Practices in high school after school programming. Come hear from a practitioner-based professional development team as they demonstrate how the integration of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), Project-Based Learning and Social Media Safety and Privacy can strengthen program quality while authentically delivering program that teens want and need.
Workshop Strand
$11,000 each/Call to inquire
This specialty and targeted workshop strand is designed and facilitated by your organization, hosting a total of 6 workshop sessions throughout the conference. This package includes your own breakout room that holds approximately 85 people per session, a BOOST A/V Support Package, 6 complimentary 3-day conference registrations, your logo in the conference brochure next to each of the 6 workshop sessions. Additionally, BOOST will provide complimentary marketing of your strand through our website, our national database of over 16,000 partners, and in print space inside the final conference brochure (1/2 page full color ad). Summer Matters: Building and Sustaining a Great Summer Program
The workshops will cover a variety of topics related to planning, improving, funding and building partnerships for summer programs. It will include examples and presentations from summer programs that have focused on program quality over the past 2 summers as well as latest research and tools from the National Summer Learning Association and Partnership for Children and Youth.
